Anglin Reef, named after the nearby Anglin Pier, runs north and south parallel to the shoreline. The reef features a distinct 10–12 foot ledge that protrudes toward shore, creating excellent structure and habitat for marine life. This area is typically loaded with sea life, making it a great second dive when returning from the Fort Lauderdale wrecks. Divers can expect to see a variety of reef fish, and Caribbean reef sharks are occasionally spotted cruising the area. The northern section of the reef offers additional structure and habitat to the west of the main ledge, providing even more opportunities to explore.
